Re: Why Web Programming Matters Most

I think the problem is one of "product design" and "usability analysis" more than anything else: What's lacking is a single easy to pick up choice that combines the parts that already exist, documents them well, adds easy tutorials, and makes it easy to package and deploy the resulting web apps. Then hype the heck out of it like Rails. The current choices for Python web development seem either in involve way too steep of a learning curve or aren't really complete on their own.

This is said w/o deep knowledge of most of the frameworks out there, just my general sense from talking to people and dabbling a bit with a few.
